The Red Effect: Ghanaian Musician Lord Paper Weighs In

Ghanaian musician Lord Paper has recently thrown his support behind the “Red Means Stop” campaign, an initiative aimed at combating drug abuse among the youth in Ghana. The campaign was officially launched by the Minister of Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo, in collaboration with Entertainment Week Ghana.

The “Red Means Stop” campaign seeks to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, particularly focusing on substances like the notorious “Red 225.” This initiative emphasizes the importance of educating young people about the devastating effects of drug misuse and encourages them to make informed decisions to lead healthier lives.

During the campaign launch, held at the Marriott Hotel in Accra, Lord Paper addressed the youth, urging them to refrain from engaging in drug abuse. He highlighted the critical role that young people play in shaping the nation’s future and emphasized that staying away from drugs is essential for personal and national development.

The event also saw participation from other notable figures, including Malik Basintale and Incredible Zigi, who joined forces to advocate against drug abuse under the “Wonim Red” campaign banner.

Lord Paper’s involvement in the “Red Means Stop” campaign underscores his commitment to social issues affecting Ghanaian youth. By leveraging his influence in the music industry, he aims to inspire positive change and encourage young individuals to pursue healthier, drug-free lifestyles.
