The Journey of Agman

Amos Kosi Amuzu Agama, popularly known as Agman, is an emerging talent hailing from Togo, now making waves in Accra, Ghana. Originating from the vibrant community of Aflao Batorme, he is the second of three siblings and discovered his love for music during his high school years in Togo.

In 2005, Agman embarked on his musical journey by co-founding a four-member ensemble named Heros Family. Alongside his musical endeavors, he nurtured a keen interest in dance, leading him to establish a breakdance troupe called “Koi D’9,” in collaboration with rapper Pincino from the group Mile Nivo. The crew electrified audiences at various nightclubs with their dynamic performances.

From 2008 to 2009, Agman formed another hip-hop collective, W.Tier K, but it didn’t resonate with his artistic vision. Undaunted, he pursued his dream of becoming a standout artist, ultimately deciding to venture into a solo career, believing that individual expression would enhance his growth. His solo debut began in Togo when he recorded his first track, “Yaweh,” at Pyramid Communications in 2014, guided by the experienced producer Nel Pakur.

In 2019, Agman made the pivotal move to Accra, seeking broader horizons. It was here that a friend introduced him to K² Empire Records, where he recorded his breakthrough single, “Love You More,” produced by King Koka. To date, he has released five captivating tracks, including a notable collaboration, all available on major streaming platforms.

In 2023, Agman returned to Togo to perform at the “SALAH Foire” after unveiling his fourth track. The following year, he teamed up with one of Volta’s leading artists, Agbeshie. Agman’s dedication and talent were recognized when he received a nomination for the New Artist of the Year at the 2024 Kama Awards, culminating in a win that marked a significant achievement in his promising career.
