Just returned from the Youth Opportunities Summit at St James’ Palace, hosted by His Majesty The King. I joined the Prime Minister, youth charities, frontline workers, campaigners, and families affected by violence to highlight the urgent need for greater investment in young people.
I’m grateful to have been in a room with such incredible individuals, all committed to creating real opportunities that help young people rise above the challenges they face. The Government’s commitment to new Youth Hubs is a step in the right direction, but we need sustainable funding and a clear plan to halve knife crime over the next decade.
Through @dsyfofficial and @elbahopefoundation , we’ll keep pushing for long-term solutions that give young people the futures they deserve.
